Tulane Pharmacology Graduate Program has been paramount in helping me grow as an individual wanting to excel in my career in the focus of patient care. I have learned a myraid of information that helps me better understand the mechanisms of drugs, why certain medications are used over others, different diseases that affect parts of the world (ie malaria) that I never even think about, since it is not prevalent in the US. I appreciate the time and dedication the teachers put into the learning objectives, always being accommodating, and helping me achieve my ultimate goal of getting my PH.D at Tulane. Pharmwiki and Osmosis, has been instrumental, in helping me learn the material, if I had those resources previously, I feel like I would of exceled even more. As a woman of 34 with ADHD, it is hard to manage time, getting overloaded by stress, (I dont know how to reduce my stress levels, but Im working on it), but by becoming more organized and having a visual learning resource has made
